Do you desire to do more for God? Would you like to get more involved in serving Him, but don’t know where to start? Sometimes, we might look at ourselves and feel that we are inept, or somewhat lacking the ability to do more. Actually, these are good thoughts as long as they don’t defeat us. Remember what Paul said, “…for when I am weak, then am I strong.” Jesus wants you to know that you need His strength and power to serve Him. The greatest thing you can do for God is to be faithful to Him. God can give you more abilities or talents if He thinks that you need them, but you must be faithful with what you have. There are personal areas you may check concerning your faithfulness to the Lord. How is your Bible reading and prayer life? How about your faithfulness to the Lord’s House? Tithes and offerings? Speaking up for Christ when no one else will? Be faithful to Christ. “ Only one life, ‘twill soon be past, only what is done for Christ will last.” If you want to see a difference in your life, and in the lives of others, be faithful in your love and devotion to Christ. You will be amazed at what Christ can do with you and through you.
